Trip - Half Day Morning Guided Fishing Trip In Destin, FL - Mackerel, Snapper And More on October 16, 2025

7:00 AM - 11:00 AM

We did the 4 hour trip cause it was our groups first time and we had some younger and older members. Mike did a great job showing us the ropes and getting us on the fish. Since we were a shorter trip we didn't get to check out all the fishing spots but will definitely try again and try a longer trip.

Captain Mike and his crew were awesome. Mike knew where the fish were and we were on them probably 95 percent of the time. Deck hand Blake keep my daughters poles baited and the girls engaged longer than they normally have been. We did a 6 hour trip which is perfect for my family. Started at 6 and was able to get some beautiful pictures of the sunrise and was back by noon with a cooler load of fish. We will definitely be using My Chance charter and Captain Mike again.

We had a great time fishing with Captain Michael and Blake, they did an excellent job making sure that our deep sea experience was a success. Captain Michael kept us on the fish all day and Blake made sure our hooks always had bait on them. Really can’t say enough good things about our whole trip, we just kept catching fish over and over again!! The boat was comfortable and had plenty of room for us to move around while Captain Michael took us out to sea and back. Captain Michael is friendly, knowledgeable and a professional and we definitely recommend him to be your Captain too!

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Captain Michael King was the best. Even if we hadn’t caught fish this review would still be a 5 star because of this guy. If anyone is ever planning a trip I strongly urge you to book with him. On the way back in was able to talk to him about what I should do in the future when we come back and do this again so I’ll give you some advice, book at least a 6 hour trip. We did the 6 and we will be back to do the 8+ hour trip. I can’t say enough on how great of an experience this was. Thank you Capt. King

Fishing with Captain Mike was awesome. My wife and I have 4 kids between ages 8 to 17. Everyone had a great time...my youngest said “this was my favorite thing we did on vacation!” Captain Mike worked hard to make sure we enjoyed ourselves and had a good haul. He knew exactly where to go and we caught a ton of Spanish mackerel. It was a very windy day so we had to stay in the harbor and inlet but it was still a great time. I highly recommend chartering a fishing boat with Captain Mike. Thanks for a great morning and some awesome family memories!

We booked a 4-hour trip at the last minute before our vacation ended, uncertain if it was available. Captain Michael was ready to go, and when we arrived early, he already had the boat running and called us on board! He quickly got us on the fish, and we ended up catching more than we could handle. We had a fantastic time, the weather was perfect, and we caught a bunch of fish. What more could you ask for?

The moment the sinker hit the bottom, it was "FISH ON"! We all had an amazing time and will definitely be back for Tuna season. Captain Michael is the hardest working captain I've ever seen, and I've been on many charters, including some overseas. Thank you, Captain Michael! We'll see you again!

Our fishing trip with Captain Mike on 3/30/24 was fantastic. Mike suggested we troll instead of bottom fishing, and he was right on the money. We ended up catching 45 Spanish Mackerel between the four of us, with most of them caught in the first 60 minutes. It was fast and furious fishing, and the kids had a blast. If you're seeking a laid-back captain who knows Gulf fishing, I highly recommend Captain Mike. Thanks, Mike, for a wonderful fishing experience. Paul
